P&M Artworks Juried Exhibition 2018: Information and Official Call for Entries
The theme for the P&M Artworks 2018 Juried Exhibition is REALITY.
We have extended the deadline for Juried Show Submission to August 1, 2018.
We invite visual artists to respond to and interpret the theme, REALITY, through their work.
The official entry information is linked below.
P&M Artworks strives to fund as many art exhibitions during the year as we possibly can. Sometimes the shows are at a gallery and often they are on our website highlighting a variety of fine craftsman or artists.
The Juried Exhibition is one of the ways in which we work to support artists and is truly a passion project for us.
The P&M Artworks Juried Exhibition submissions come from artists of all ages. From the ceramicist, Roberto Lugo to fiber artist, Jason Pollen to glass designer, Kate Clements, and silversmith, Robyn Nichols. We are continuously delighted with the variety of mediums and perspectives the artists bring to us through their work.
The P&M Artworks Annual Juried Exhibition is an opportunity for an artist to receive honest and highly informed feedback on their work. The critique of the work takes place the day the Juried Exhibition closes at the Leedy-Voulkos Art Center. P&M Artworks provides lunch and the critique is moderated personally by Art Historian (and P&M Artworks co-owner) Patricia Brown Glenn.
As Patricia describes it, "This is one of my favorite aspects of the Juried Exhibition because we like to pose probing questions to the artists and learn more about them as well as the vision for their work in the future."
We look forward to your submissions.
